장로회 각 치리회 회의 규칙
제1장 총칙
제1조 (명칭)
본 규정은 “대한예수교장로회 표준 회의 규정”이라 한다. (이하 본 규정)
제2조 (목적)
본 규정은 대한예수교장로회 각 치리회 및 산하 각 부, 위원회 등 회의체의 민주적 구성과 원만하고 신속한 회의 진행을 통하여 공정한 결의를 이끌어내는 것을 목적으로 한다.
제3조 (적용범위)
본 규정은 총회 산하 각 회의체의 회의에서 일반규정으로 효력을 갖는다. 다만 헌법, 각 회의체의 규칙, 정관, 규정, 세칙 등에 별도의 규정이 있으면 그것에 따른다.

교회사를 공부하다보니 로마의 10대 박해가 313년 콘스탄틴대제로 끝나고 그 때로 부터 회의시대가 개막되는 것을 알 수 있게 되었다.
얼핏 보면 순수한 목적으로 교계가 주관되어 이 회의는 준비되었고 진행되었으리라는 생각을 갖기 쉽다. 그러나 그 속사정은 다르다.
오히려 각 회의의 소집자는 황제들이었으며, 자신의 권력과 야망, 야욕을 지켜내거나 이룩하기 위해서 회의가 개최 되었다는 점을 알 수 있다
