교회사를 공부하다보니 로마의 10대 박해가 313년 콘스탄틴대제로 끝나고 그 때로 부터 회의시대가 개막되는 것을 알 수 있게 되었다.
얼핏 보면 순수한 목적으로 교계가 주관되어 이 회의는 준비되었고 진행되었으리라는 생각을 갖기 쉽다. 그러나 그 속사정은 다르다.
오히려 각 회의의 소집자는 황제들이었으며, 자신의 권력과 야망, 야욕을 지켜내거나 이룩하기 위해서 회의가 개최 되었다는 점을 알 수 있다

우리 노회는 개교회 문제는 개교회가 해결하도록 하는 것을 자랑삼아 말한다.
일부 좋은 점이 있는것이 분명하다.
그러나 스스로 해결하지 못하는 경우 노회가 너무 늦게 조치하는 바람에 치유불가 최악의 상황까지 도달하는 경우가 있다고 본다.
노회의 그러한 생각은
과거 불순무리들이 자신들의 사리사욕 채우기에 혈안이 되어 거룩한 개교회에 간섭하는 경우를 사전에 방지하려는 취지에서 비롯된 것이라 사료된다.
그러나
진심으로 회원교회를 생각하는 차원이라면 이야기가 달라진다. 어떤 선을 정해놓고, 그 선을 넘는 정도로 …
